The purpose of this project was to test a concept revolving around using Unity3D as a system for saving images generated by the user. The initial tech uses the default Unity line-drawing system coupled with tracking the user’s touch input. The scene uses multiple cameras to allow the user to draw without overwriting the background image. This gives a clean, un-intrusive experience.
Once an image has been created by the user, the app will automatically take the camera source for the image and use a conversion plug-in to save the created image to a local folder on the device. This location is specific to the platform, but will always generate a PNG.
After a picture has been generated and saved, the app can then pull and display that same image when selected from the dropdown menu. Because all images are saved locally to a generated folder they can always be found if the platform allows user access to internal files.
This app is currently live on the Google Play Store as a free download
